Suwa support

Email j.tan2231@gmail.com for help.

Describe what happened and include your app version, iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, and any error message. Screenshots can help; remove information you do not want to share. Never send your Apple password, sign-in codes, or full payment details.

Signing in

Suwa uses Sign in with Apple. If verification fails temporarily, use the retry option and check your connection. For account-specific help, say whether you used Apple’s Hide My Email option; do not send authentication credentials.

Manage or cancel Suwa Plus

In Suwa, open Account → Manage Subscription. You can also use Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.

Apple manages subscription payments and cancellation. Canceling stops future renewals; access normally continues through the paid period. See Apple’s cancellation instructions. For refund requests, visit Apple’s Report a Problem.

Restore a purchase

Use Account → Restore Purchases or Restore Purchases on the Suwa Plus screen. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase and the Suwa account originally associated with it.

If Apple charged you but access has not activated, retry activation or restore the purchase. Contact support if the issue continues. A purchase associated with a deleted Suwa account cannot currently be transferred automatically to a new account.

Control AI translation feedback

Suwa asks for permission before sending your translation, the Japanese sentence, and the reference answer to OpenAI. Enable Allow OpenAI feedback to use this feature. This can also submit today’s saved translation when you have Plus access.

Permission applies to the current Suwa account on this device. To stop future uploads, open Account → AI feedback and turn Allow OpenAI feedback off. Existing feedback remains available; this does not recall requests already sent or stop processing already queued on the server.

Delete your account

  1. Sign in to Suwa and open Account.
  2. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Deleting Suwa does not cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it separately through Apple if you do not want it to renew.

Deletion immediately disables access and clears your name and email from the active account records. The account and submitted translations are removed from Suwa’s live database after Apple sign-in access is revoked. See the privacy policy for retained security and subscription records.

If you cannot access the app, email support to request help. We may need to verify that the account is yours.

Device-local study data

Free translation completions, vocabulary practice, and dictionary notes are stored on the device. They are not synchronized as an online backup. Reinstalling the app or changing devices may not preserve them. Account deletion does not erase every device-local note; you can remove individual notes in Notepad.

Privacy and data requests

For questions or requests to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete personal information, email j.tan2231@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before acting. Read the Suwa privacy policy.
